However, I'm not getting the tune for another couple of weeks. I'm assuming that a TBE with 200cell cat will throw an error from the sensors on the exhaust. My question is, if I get it installed and it does error is that going to cause any issues driving the car in the mean time, before I get the tune with the sensor written out of it. I need to drive a couple of hundred kms over the next week and can't afford to not have the car running well. Or will I just have a light on the dash but no effect on car performance?

    Help much appreciated!!!
When I got mine installed, it didnt throw any CEL until I was waiting out the front of my mates place for 5 mins on idle. Mind you, this was after a week of driving the car. I freaked out as well, but the car seemed to run perfectly fine. Just an annoying light on the dash.

if possible can you upload a soundclip once its on?
looking into a TBE very soon, APR was too expensive, but i was considering GHL is they have a stealth version like APR.
Maybe this might be the way to go!

Go to the eBay ad using the link in the original post, that has two videos.

Installing next Tuesday - will hopefully get a photo or two to put up

Well, exhaust installed today. Big thanks to Peter at Wild Exhausts in Stepney for doing it, he was excellent.

Anyone looking at a TBE at a great price I can thoroughly recommend the TCP product. It fit the car really well (only needed one hanger bent slightly). Even the installer commented. As for the sound, it's perfectly restrained below 3000rpm, not much more than stock. Open it up and it's a deep bark, but not droning at all. Anyone worried about a loud exhaust would be more than happy.

Initial impression of performance - revs much more freely and boost seems to come on a bit earlier (less lag). Hard to know power increase without dyno but without doubt more power is there. Had some wheel spin into second tonight on WOT, haven't had that before

If you need it checking for fault codes send me a PM or email. I'd be interested to hear what it sounds like on the move too!

Thanks Gavin, I really appreciate it. Have been driving it around this afternoon and no fault from the sensors yet (touch wood!).

So, my little frolick with modifications is now complete, with the install of the stage 1 program done today. I must give a big shout out to John at DNA Tuning (as a happy customer, nothing more). He has been helpful and honest from start to end and initial impressions of the DNA tune are excellent - very progressive and controlled

The combo of the intake, tune and exhaust are perfectly matched. Now to stop spending
