Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

    Have fun with your veedubs.
take that as an indication that they dont want your car. They would probly have to move it on quickly via wholesale. Be a big hassle for them no doubt. a 12 month old car would be best sold privately.

Both are great cars. Test drive them & see. The price of the R32 is not that much more if you add the xenon lights, leather ect to the GTI. Also haggle... haggle... haggle. Play dealers off against each other if you have to. The first price I was quoted for a R32 from one dealer was $10K higher than another.

Hope you manage to buy a Golf & love the experience.

To get the best of both worlds buy an Audi A3 quattro-AWD and a tuneable 2.0 TFSI.Having said that I wouldn't trade my Golf4 R32 for anything less than a 997 turbo.
