Side mirror blinker plastic cracked

Some M.F. hit my car side mirror while I parked in the city street, the mirror got hit to the front, no scratches at all, BUT the blinker clear plastic around the corner got a 1" crack, blinker still work, just wonder if I can just replace the clear plastic or I have to replace the WHOLE side mirror? F*&% those idiots who cant drive

the indicator comes as a sealed unit. So no you dont need to replace the whole mirror but you do need to replace the whole indicator as you cant buy just the lens

The part you can buy from VW for about $50. If you good in cars you can replace yourself but you need to take the mirror apart. I went to a VW mechanic and he did for me for $40.

Or you could buy smoked lenses from Tim and install them your self...

Hi POW, can you please pm me where to get the lens for $50, and also your mechanic details, seem absolutely reasonable price to replace it, I can live with the crack, just scared that water will get inside ... THANX!
