Non- Climatronic Air Con MK5 Golf Difficulties removing storage tray

Hi i am having difficulties Removing the storage tray in my mk5 golf to install rns510. Do you unclip from the front or the back as the clips do not seem to come out. I haven't got the Climatronic Air Con as i haven't got the dial at the top. Help will be greatly appreciated.

Are you using trim removal tools? I assume you removed the two screws in the bottom of the tray? There should be a guide to the non climatronic removal on my website.
