  • APR Stage 2 on MKV GTI... What are your thoughts???

    Hi All

I got the Stage 2 APR software put on my GTI the other day and the only difference I am feeling is that there is less torque than stage 1.
I am going to see if I can do a dyno run and see what results I get out off it when I get a chance, with stage 1 I got 208whp, but not sure what torque I had that day.

Also for those people who have got the stage 2 on the GTI's can you let us all know what setup you have.

I have Carbonio CAI, APR TBE, APR stage 2.

I would like to hear what other people think off the stage 2???

    DEMAND A REFUND! hehe

seriously if you dont think there is any difference go have a chat to the place that did the install and ask them what the deal is. what do they claim the difference to be?

I highly doubt there would be less torque? Perhaps smoother power delivery makes it less noticable?

Have posted this before elsewhere but this is Mike's dyno results with same setup as you...

That is why I am thinking doing a back to back run on a dyno.
I can get it reflashed to stage1 and then 2 from my APR dealer with no problems.

Stage 2 made a big difference to my ride. Same specs as yours and no, I dont have dyno readings. The feel of the power delivery and top end was heaps better again.
