I got some Philips Power Xtreme H7 globes and was going to change the old ones out. The holder on the passenger side seems to be stuck. turned the holder but it reuses to come out. The driver side was no problem. It looks to be wedged in somehow, maybe PO stuffed it in the wrong way or something but it wont pop out. Any suggestions?

See I've only ever changed the bulb while my headlights were out, so I can't really picture having to lean in through the bonnet to get it open.
So you have the stock halogen headlights?2002 Volkswagen Bora V5 - 2007 Mazda 3 GT - 1998 Ford Contour Sport - 2010 Volkswagen Jetta 2.0T - 2013 Volkswagen Passat 130TDI - 2015 Ford Escape 1.5 - 2016 Subaru WRX - 2018 Volkswagen Golf R Wolfsburg Wagon

Yes, stock lights, not bad but Xtreme power is better IMO, I used them in my 01 Bora and it was a huge difference. In all fairness the stock bulbs are already much better than the ones on the Bora. If removing the headlight is "relatively" painless, I might have a go at that as it will let me see what is causing the holder not to release form the socketMY19 Polo GTi 2.0 DSG
