  • Clicking / Ticking Sound inside cabin??? (coolant Pump???)

My sisters car has a clicking / ticking sound inside the cabin.

I had the car running and removed the fuses one by one and when I pulled F15 (Coolant Pump??) fuse the sound stops.

The sound is coming from the passanger foot well.

Any ideas what it could be??

    Thanks,

    Michael

It is the climatronic control. It runs even if you have it turned off.

      Thanks.

Can you stop it at all??

      It is really quite annoying...

Unfortunately no but you can get your dealer to have a look at it. They can only dampen out the sound with sound proofing.

Hmm, thanks, I'd thought it was something in the fan as it only seems to do it when the fan is on low, and stops when the fan is off.
Anyone know exactly where the sound proofing might be required?
          Thanks,

So contrary to what 99_FGT responded my sound is actually always there even with the fan off.

Can anyone confirm what fuse F15 is actually for as the more I look the more I find you can't believe everything you see on fuse locations...

Any more help would be greatly appericated.

            Thanks.
