  • Bumpers - memory plastic?

Put the tiniest of dents in the front bumper, just enough to be slightly visible distortion.

Does anyone know of the MkV has memory plastic and it will return back in time?

Going to get the little nick touched up with touch up paint, but not sure if I should wait in case the plastic deforms back, so to speak?

Depending how big the dents are,and if you can get behind where they are ive used a hairdryer just heat up the area where the dents are so its hot to touch ,dint hold the dryer too close or you could damage the paint, Once its hot it should feel ply able you can then push out the dent from behind.

Its quite tiny - very very minor but I know its there. Its about the size of a 5c piece, very lightly pushed in.

I might have a play and see if I can get in from behind.
