Number of H7 bulbs on Jetta

Just wondering about the number of H7 bulbs on each headlight. Is there a seperate H7 globe for dipped and main beam or does one H7 do both dipped and high beam? The jetta manual talks about 2 H7 on each side

There are 2 H7 globes on each side (when you don't have xenons of course). One is the low beam being the outer reflector and the other is high bea that is closeet to the chrome grill.

IF charging any of them be careful not to drop the backing cover as it may fall under the engine and you'll have a devils own job retrieving it. Well I did once! Now I'm more careful

Thanks for the info. I ordered a set of H7 Philips Powerextreme from powerbulbs thinking the JEtta used only one per side for both dipped and high beam. As I normally use low beam I will just change the low beam globes and have better lighting around town and on the freeways.
