  • Any benefit from just exhaust on 2.0T?

    Is there any performance benefit to upgrading the exhaust on a 2.0T (my 2.0TFSI Jetta in particular)?

    Either cat-back or complete system.

    Catback = Negligible
    Turboback = Noticible gains.

      All the power is in the dump pipe, all the sound is in the cat back.

      A dump pipe on your stock cat back is the best bang for buck for power, and your Jetta will take any MKV GTI dump just fine. Obviously, because of the boot, the Jetta cat back is a bit longer than the GTI.

          A lot more power and less effort in a software tune.
