  • MK5 Jetta Side Mirrow

    Hi All,

Does anyone know where can I get inserts for side mirrors from? I hate the original factory fitted mirrors. They confuse you with the actual distances to the cars behind you.
I don't understand the reason designing that way???

I am looking for the real mirror effect, like the one inside on the windscreen.

    Cheers,

Check some of the glass suppliers — we had flat mirrors cut for the shopping jeep (Yaris) — they just adhere to the existing mirror and can be removed if necessary.

You lose some of the wide angle view, but at least things behind you look real...

Should cost $60-70 for the pair.

And for anyone who wants mirrows, you'll need to plant some sidelings.
