GTI FUEL CONSUMPTION for the past 6000kms...

My MFD FOR THE TRIP of 6000kms in relation to fuel consumption is at 9.8L/100km



Has many people let their trip ride for a while and if so how does your cosumption compare?

my jetta (2.0TSI) for the first 12 months averaged around 9.0L/100k's.
After the APR chip it has averaged around 8.0L/100k's and can get down to 7.5L/100k's on the hume highway.

My LTA is currently on 7.0 after a 1600k round trip to Orange, the trip average was 6.8.

My MKV GTI DSG has got as low as 6.2km/l going TO work jocking along at 80 to 100k with the rest of the traffic.
Comming home when the roads arn't quite as busy is a different story. Often way over 10km/l
Overall I average around 8km/l.
Funnily enough I don't get good economy on the highway. I think the sweet spot must be around the 80-100 mark.
Anything over 110 and the revs are too high.

Before APR stage 1 8.9L/100ks

After APR stage 1 9.3L/100ks (no complaints)

I guess my driving style has changed
