    Hi guys thought i would share, had this nice Mk5 sent for a Twin Exhaust, and fitted a Typhoon K and N CAI, along with stage one tune, Typhoon and exhaust sounds good, along with tune is not a bad combo. After it had been tuned as always any part that is happy on standard that has weakness shows up when the boost goes up, yep cut off valve was rat. burst diaphragm, nice new uprated suffix D unit fitted, will go a nice forge piston type later on but now holding on to boost way better now

          Nice job cutting the rear bumper. Who did that?
          I went for single exhaust because I didn't want to pay for a new rear bumper, but definitely prefer the double look.

          And is the forge actuator worth the expense? I have put a k04 on my gti and it sounds like it's losing boost under acceleration. It makes a stuttering sound. I've been told the forge unit isn't required. I've bought a boost guage to see whats happening, but haven't fitted it yet.

            I distribute Forge mate i can cost one up for you, but the one i fitted to this particular vehicle was the VW uprated "D version" that has been beefed up, i can post a piccie of what you will find with the oldie. Ill do a show and tell shortly. Goes really good this one, oh and i agree with the colour coding that would be the goods

              I think what mine has is the D version. It looks like a plastic cyclinder type thing rather than the old blue or orange rubber thing? (Hows that for a description...?)

              I would be interested to know what you think about my boost issues though and if the forge unit would fix it. I'm in Brisbane also.
