Hello hope I grabbed your interest. My golf had an accident and has since been repaired, however it feels very down on power. Insurance company says its on me to prove this. I have taken it to AVW who agrees that it is very down on power, and got a written report to this effect. This wasnt enough for the insurance company.
Which brings me to my next question, it feels as if it has zero boost below about 2300 and is quite hard to get started on a hill.
Can someone or many people with a MkV 2.0 TDI manual try accelerating in 3rd gear on the flat, and time to the nearest second or so amount of time taken to get from 1000-2000 and 2000-3000 rpm.
Also ultimately I think I will need a dyno report to back this up, has anyone had a stock one on a dyno locally (pre chipping etc) so I could go to that dyno for a comparison, or does someone want to put their car on a dyno for just a readout (at my cost)
Chris
