Here you can see where the bra is
Here you can see where the bra is if you look real close
      Bit closer

Depending on the lighting and angle of view you can either see it or not. If you aren't looking for it, you won't even notice it.

Jamie pointed out a small discrepancy in the fit on the bonnet (which I hardly noticed). He said it takes about a week for the material to settle completely. If the slight bubble in the bonnet was still there in a week he would redo it completely.

Overall, I am very happy as stone chips at the front of the car, etc will now be a thing of the past - EXCEPT for one very minor chip I have already picked up on the front lower left of the bumper.

In a week I will give the car a good clean and then hit her with some Zymol wax. Post more piccies after that.

      Cheers,
      Geoff.

        Geoff hi.

Well done, Thanks for your effort with these pic's.

Do they also put the film over the chrome, grill bars and badge.

                Thanks guys.

I tossing over in my mind wether to go a bit further and get the doors done. All my cars have always picked up scratches, etc in the doors due to other idiots banging my car in car parks.

I am always very careful opening my doors so as not to hit other cars, obviously some ppl don't give a crap.

I might email James and query what it would cost.

I can't spot it in the photos. Very neat.
Looks like a good investment, but how much did it cost?

Red may be the devils colour, but this car is pure heaven

This was the quote from Jamie:
                    Geoff,
I have patterns to suit the 2007 Jetta. There are several variations on the bumper but the bonnet and lights are the same across the range.
The pricing for the Jetta is as follows.
                    Bumper $377.75
Bonnet, guards and external mirrors $256.80
                    Lights $63.50
All prices are fully installed and include GST.
                    Yours sincerely,
                    James Pierce

Are you sure he did it, Geoff? Fabulous job, can't see anything.

                        Hi Geoff.

If you don't mind I might ask you in a few months how the film is working out.

It seems I will have a 3-4 month wait.
My dealer has indicated they are waiting to allocate me an allocation
                        if you can understand that.

Looks good - hard to see it's even there.

Re: door banging at shopping centres ... I have a 100% certain way of avoiding them ... don't take the Jetta to the shopping centre

Ours doesn't go near those places, we use our other car for that

Unfortunately I cannot avoid that. I also use my car for business and have to park all over the place.

Have emailed James last night asking for a quote on doors as well as rear bumper.
