It was more that I felt like I was stepping down a bit with the GTi

Great car, but coming from my current car it just felt a bit slow. I'm guessing most people looking at a GTI wouldn't really be in the same boat, so it was a one off thing for me.

It was going to be a MKV R32, but doing it as a lease so made more sense to go new.
