Can a GTI owner please check their service manual for the recommended cambelt change interval?

I've heard conflicting info:
120,000km/4 years whichever comes first, or
120,000km no time interval.

I would really suspect it to be time based as well, as most cambelts are.

I just went down to the carpark and checked. Its says to check/inspect at 90,000km and replace at 120,000km. No mention of time based replacement.
