That looks like a Lindesay Brothers truck too....those pricks are always driving too close....especially north of Brisbane. They have a reputation for tailgating and it is well earned...I know the DOT give them a doing over on a regular basis.

yeah it was a lindsay bros. yeah trucks suck on that highway, actually on any highway.. Its great when youre doing the speed limit and its raining and they are still going faster in urban areas... fantastic. I reember that trucks used to be speed limited.. Doesnt that happen anymore? I havent seen it on any trucks or busses for a long time.

Speed limiters, was only a NSW requirement. Other states did not require
them, but if they wanted to travel at the Maximum speed of 100km/h in
NSW they needed to be fitted otherwise they could only travel at 90km/h.
Due to all heavy vehicles now being under the federal licensing system
Trucks now no longer require them.
However Buses and Coaches based in NSW that travel out of a 100km
radius from there depot's have to have limiters due to them being under
the control of the NSW department of transport or as they are now known
Ministry of Transport. not sure about other state requirements on busses.
Only the transport depart will recognize the tachograph device, not police.
And a speed limited vehicle will still go over 100km/h down hill, but not on a
flat surfice as long as it has not been tampered with.
