Car almost here

Finally, my suspension parts will be in from Sydney by next Monday. Pickup car Wednesday, straight to Autobarn on Thursday for an all day fitout of the Pioneer AVIC-HD3 plus an alarm system with tilt sensing and glass break detectors.

Hey Geoff, doesnt the Jetta have an alarm and tilt sensor in it already?
The GTi's do. plus a motion alarm as well . Pardon my ignorance....

Patience is a virtue - bugger that - want it NOWWWWWWWWWW.....

Good news, should get the car Tuesday now, which means I can get the Pioneer AVIC-HD3 & car alarm installed one day earlier - on Wednesday (MY BIRTHDAY ). Even better, I have the next day off, so I can read the massive manual that comes with the AVIC. plus take the in-laws to the airport, check out the GPS, listen to some music, feel the 18" rims pur along the freeway

Dropped into the dealer this morning to eyeball the car, just to make sure there aren't any "surprises" when I pick her up. Also wanted to check it out before authorising my finance company to transfer the funds.

Just "happened" to have my camera - a few before & after shots will be good reference.
