Road sign and first aid kit - Mk5 R32

Hey again,

I was wondering if anyone could confirm what was standard issue for the Mk5 R32 Aust cars - in terms of the road warning sign and first aid kit, in the boot.

Mine are both missing and on looking in the manual it appears the first aid kit is an optional accessory?, but Im not sure about the road sign.

About to blast the dealer I bought it from, so thought I could add this to the list!

I see in the manual, they call they road sign the 'warning triangle', and state that both are not standard equipment in some countries....wondering if they are in Aust? Thanks

I don't think they came with the car in Aus.

You're lucky, the warning triangle isn't standard issue either.

Go to Bunnings & you can buy a triangle in a plastic case for $9 - hardly worth the grief with the dealer IMO.

Awesome, thanks for the info. Looks like they were not standard equipment, and a few may have slipped through the cracks from Europe where they are mandatory.
