This car on carsales seems to have had a tough and now owner is selling ... But almost appears as although the owner is requesting a premium after the unfortunate incident.

Yeah, I'd agree the owner is asking a lot, more to the point can't believe that was even allowed to be classified as "repairable".

Yeah he sounds like he is wasting everyone's time with that price, if it was a repairable write off then it would be worth half of what he is asking, maybe he doesn't want to sell it but his wife is making him so he is sabotaging his own sale..

I have seen a few ads like this...
property settlements are a good example.....
Agreement is assets must be sold and then proceeds of the sale split...the owner really doesn't want to sell so advertises it like this so no one will buy, or I have seen a Transporter advertised for $1,000,000.00
