  • Pcd clarification for Jetta

    Hey,

Feeling like a noodlehead atm .. but I am not too aufaye with the wheel world.
But I've been looking around the different posts and info around here and on the wheels/tyres sections..

I note there's some sections specifying the Golf MkV have a pcd of 5x113 -
Can i assume the Jetta has the same pcd ..or is it 5x100 as advised by a friend..
Any help would be greatly appreciated. ...

Im actively researching options atm - definitely pretty likely - in several weeks time I will have a surplus set of orig oem Jetta Turbo wheels. If anyone is interested. .heh heh.

You will find a lot dealers for rims have the incorrect info regarding the MkV for some reason...I have even had one importer demand my chassis number before i ordered from him!!! Go in armed with the right info...which is as per Guy's advice above.
      Definitely 5x112 with a 50-51p

18" R32 wheels have offset of 51, but I'm pretty sure that 17" GTI wheels have an offset of 45.

Red may be the devils colour, but this car is pure heaven

Nominal offset is 50mm - it can vary slightly dependant on rim width

ie: a 45mm offset may work, as may a 55mm, but a 35mm will never work

            Thanks heaps for the info..
It's very much appreciated. Will definitely come in handy when it's time to go shopping.
A tad hard atm without the car.
Strangely I'm still compelled to do so for my phantom jetta..
