  • GTI repairer required. Eastern suburbs of Melbourne...

    Hi all,

Just wanted to get your recommendations for a repairer in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. My wife's stationary GTI got swiped, right front bumper. Fortunately no damage to the panel but nontheless an inconvenience. The bumper will either be completed replaced or the scraped on paint will be cut back and perhaps resprayed, perhaps.

    Anyways are there any recommendations?

    Thanks,

    Steven

Brighton Panels (Bignell Rd Moorabin). Can't recommend them highly enough. Check out their website

Best repairer in the Eastern suburbs (and possibly the whole of Melbourne) is Charlie Battisti, 2/4 Moncrief Rd
Nunawading. Look them up on their website- google Charlie Battisti and Co.

Depends on your insurer of course- these guys repair Lamborghini's, Porsche's, high-end Merc's/Audi's/BMW's etc- at a *high* price premium. Would liken them to a 5 star service. You can literally eat your dinner from their workshop floor it is that good. Last time I went a Murcielago was having repairs done (they have an "open" viewing area).

Brighton Panels are also fantastic, at a slightly lower price- see Buckets' post for details.
