Now apparently due in August instead of July 1st. Given I have my Alfa up for sale, this is annoying to say the least. Finding out if they have any other R32s available.

Not sure. A little frustrated as information does not seem to be forthcoming. I only found out today because I asked them again to send my VIN number through to my lender. That's the one thing I found really frustrating when waiting on mine.....information flow really was pitiful! Even calling VW Oz customer service was useless, with no on eringing back. It got to the stage where i rang on the Fri morn and said if wasn't delivered by Sat morning i was going to cancel the order...guess what arrived from Melb that afternoon??????sigpic

My sales girl is very nice (not a bad sort either) but yeah, would prefer less of the glam and coffees at my dealer and more info and action. In my line of business we say it is better to take 3 hours to fix an issue and keep our clients informed, rather than fix it in two hours and tell them nothing.
If they had have been up front and kept me informed, I would have copped it better today but yeah, if I don't get the response I want tomorrow, will have to seriously consider looking elsewhere. My expectations have not been well managed!

that's bad news dude - i was hoping for mine last weekend - now should be this weekend
who knows what they do with all these cars - how hard can it be to pick a date a deliver to it - its not as if they haven't imported a car before

I ordered my R32 just over a month ago and picked it up Friday, then sold my GTI on Sunday which makes life easy. Having to adapt back to manual from DSG has taken a few days.VW Golf R32 MkV
