  • did the GTI leather colour change from black to deep grey?

    hi all

I thought I was imagining things, but now I really do think that some GTIs seem to have really black leather, whilst others, like my 2008 build, seem to have a deep grey.

Could someone confirm whether that's true, and if so when the changeover happened?

The brochure for 08 indicates that there was only a choice of Anthracite or Mocca/Latte/Flat white (whatever that coffee colour is called)

    cheers

Anthracite is the only dark option on the car from day one, the code has been the same and the colour the same since launch of the Mark V.

Anthracite is a dark grey colour and depending on the tint and the care of the leather it will look different as it ages.
