Can all mk VI wheels fit in mk V?

    Can all mk VI wheels fit in mk V?

    Hi guys just want to know are all the mk VI wheels such as cleveland and gti or any 16" 17" and even 18" can direct fit to any mk V golf?
    Anything I need be aware or just simply direct swap?

    Simple answer: Yes, they will fit perfectly.

      Actually I have a feeling that the Mk6 wheels are a completely different PCD - I think they're 100 whereas the mk5's are 112? Could be wrong.

        I thought they were 114.3 so that JDM wheels could go straight on...

            Didnt mean to be a smart A$$ b4...

            Mk3 VR6 began the 5x100, carried through to Mk 4 and last model Polo (GTI only I think). Mk5 > went 5x112

                Mk6 wheels will fit a mk5. I have the mk6 R wheels on my mk5 GTI.

                The only issue was that I went fron 225 to 235 tyres, and because the car ws so low they rubbed a bit.

                I had the car lifted a tad so it's fine now.

                  You've got that mixed up with the Mk4 me thinks.

                  Mk4 = 100 PCD
                  Mk5 + Mk6 = 112 PCD

                  So to answer the question, yes Mk5 and Mk6 wheels are interchangeble.
