Which FedEx service did TireRack use to get such a (comparitively) good rate for you? I checked the FedEx web site to get an idea of the price for shipping wheels and it was around $US700!!!
Good to hear you got it sorted, I'm a bit perplexed why Tire Rack didn't provide you with the correct hub rings though. Like I said mine came with the studs and also the hub rings from OZ.
Anyway let us know if it fixes it.
Cheers Al
Al: Can't blame tirerack for not shipping with hardware. I misread one of our many emails and made a blanket statement that I was after rims only....and never thought to query it again. Because they do not have any fitments for the R32 listed yet as it has not been launed in the US yet, they were (rightly) concerned with suppling the correct fitment...and in my haste/excitement I simply forgot to go down that track.
Fault lies completely with me unfortunately. Oh well, we live and learn
Milan @ TCCA has been brilliant and has today shipped some 14 & 1/2 pitch thread studs in a 40mm length with a ball seat....this SHOULD fix the drama.
so....onto the next thing. I think Milan has talked me into some H&R anto-roll bars and springs. Will have to ponder on this one.

As far as I can tell, they used "international Express" which arrived here in 7 days from shipment including clearing customs.
I would suugest that Fedex are their prefered method of transport, and given their volume, I would think that their rate would a bucket load better than you or I could negotiate....dollars talk!
I would suggest using the freight company of any vendor you choose for that reason. They would all have standing volume rates with their respective partners. Just as I have with my business.

Oh well live and learn, glad it's all sorted for you. I've got the front and rear adjustable H&R swaybars and they are a great upgrade, though I'd go with coilovers first or at the same time if you can.
Well, thanks to Milan @ TCCA, I fitted the new studs today. Whilst they haven't cured the shaking at higher speeds (where it is more critical!), sub 100km/h it now feels like it should.
So......further investigation. Still going down the path of machining up some hub rings, but am also going to talk to tirerack and try and see if they can sell me the hardware seperately.
Also fitted the next visual mod today. Smoked mirrors indicators lamps. This is how it should've looked all along. Really suits the whole blue & black thing going on. They are a direct replacement for the factory white lenses and continue the black look at the base of the mirror. The must have mod...totally changed the appearance. All for about $90 from awesome-gti.co.uk. Every MkV should have this done!

You should be able to get OZ hub rings for the car that snap into place in the wheels. I'm not sure if the MKV hub is the same size as the MKIV but I got a spare set from Vince at Oz Australia for my second set of Superleggeras.
its ok! if there is no pics soon,I can BAN him now!!! hahahaha
c'mon, give us break....gotta earn a living to pay for this addiction
pic's of the smoked indicator lenses attached. Soryy, no before shots, but you've all seen 'em before!!! Excuse the low res images...damn pda's don't work real well as cameras.

Pardon my ignorance... what are 'hub rings', and when are they required?
Thanks.
The OZ wheels are made to fit a variety of different cars. The centre of the wheel has a snap in ring depending on the size of hub on your car. Eg when you take your wheel off you will see a round lip type protrusion in the centre of the hub / rotor on your car.
