Was bored in class today so photoshopped my car. Had an idea of putting mk6 r leds on a mk5. Of course you would need some bodywork done, but i can see it coming out very well. What do you guys reacon?

      Looks good.
Wiring may also be different as well as the body mods but it suits more than the "sideways water-droplet" shape mk5 rear's imho.

        Looks good!

Does your car have an Oetinger rear bumper with Oem GTI side skirts? I have been wondering how this would "flow" together, but looks good.

So long as your are aware that the resale value of your car will be affected and that it doesn't matter to you. It is your call.

Looks great, definitely something different (even though it's identical to the rear of a Mk6).

IMO you should just get a Mk6 GTI and do a Mk5 conversion on the front. At least then it's just panel change

If it will look the same in RL as the photo chop then I'd say do it.

I can imagine the cost to be huge!!!! and yes resale would be affected, but i don't care about that, otherwise i wouldn't have painted my car XD. Do you guys know any body shops that could do something like this?

Hardly worth the effort in my opinion, it will look just like an Mk6 from the back - if you're going to go to the expense and trouble of re-doing the rear perhaps adapt some other cars lights to it.Try photoshopping a few taillights and see what they look like.
