      Hi guys

I suffered with this same problem for 2 years on a rare and very random basis. The fule pump work with the battery so if the battery is weak it needs to work hard to crank the engine and pump the fuel back into the engine.

This is why when the fuel is low and you have let the car seat for a few days the fuel drains back all the way down and the problem with weak battery is more ikely to manifest.

I can not beleive that many many service requests and ECU updates at VW ... could not identify this very very simple issue.

For me a change of battery was all it took... cracnks faster and starts everytime.

      A great angine.
