hi all
have noticed that the windnoise on my 3-door GTI (with sunroof) dramatically increases at 100kmh. Regardless of the road surface. The noise is not a whistle, but more like a blower noise (think loud fan)
Is this common on the GTIs?
I don't think it's related to the sunroof or the door seals , as the noise seems to come from further forward.
Could it be mirrors? Or air going through the bonnet?
Or is this common on Golf Vs? I can't imagine it on a German car designed for pretty high speed travel
Am planning a long trip up to Port Stephens next month and hopefully can get this noise sorted!
