  • New Jetta 147TSI

Picked up my new Jetta 147TSI DSG last night, Salsa Red, with leather, paddle shift steering wheel, MDI, bluetooth and stainless steel pedal set.

Very nice car, similar to our Skoda RS in many ways. Love it.

Congrats on the new Jetta purchase!
Enjoy playing with your new flaps. I'd like some, too.

          Congratulations,post pics up ASAP please.

I am sure you will LOVE the Jetta,it is such a good package, and excellent value for money.

As you know,we are all passionate here.

Was your car registered last month ???

VW hAD the Jetta special on,and moved a massive 602 units for the month, outselling all the medium cars, except for Camry, and narrowly beaten by Mazda 6.

Paddle shift ... noice. About the only think I miss from my TFSI (old badge for 147TSI).

I picked up my reflex silver 147TSI DSG with MDI, bluetooth, sports pedals and sports pack a few weeks back now. Kicking myself I didn't get the paddle shifts. I used to have those in my Alfa Romeo 147. I absolutely love the Jetta though.

I forgot to ask: is your steering wheel otherwise the standard Jetta wheel, plus the paddle shifts?

Even though I'm happy with the standard Jetta leather wheel, I'd prefer to replace it with a GTI/R32 Mk5 wheel with the perforated leather - or even better,a R36 wheel (chunkier 10' and 2' positions but not quite the same flat-bottom look of that MkV sports wheel) - to get a slightly sportier wheel PLUS DSG paddles. Then probably get bigger paddles.

                Show us ya pics!

Salsa red is an amazing colour! Any red is for that matter...

Congrats on the new car, any plans for it? Paddles are a must I take it.
