  • Lug Bolt question

Hi guys. Wondering if someone might be able to help me out.

I'm after a particular spec on some lug bolts. Have attached a picture to help explain what I'm after:

I'm after a M14 x 1.5 lug, with the overall width being no more than 22mm. The 43mm long lugs available from ECS are a fraction over 24mm and do not fit the wheel. The Project Kics DPS system is the right overall dimension, but are only available up to 35mm in length.

Does anyone know of a source (be it local or OS) that stock what I'm after?

Contact Galrpro Engineering here in Adelaide. They should either have some, or will be able to make some for you to those specs.

7 weeks and still waiting for Barry to finally start them. I never thought getting 10 bolts made could take so long.

          Hey John,

These may fit the bill. You can probably get away with longer bolts.

Thanks Mick. 10mm 'might' be too much though. Not sure exactly how much room there is available though. Good find though! Will bookmark it incase I have this problem again!

            See you soon.

              You can always shorten them

btw Mick, those bolts only come in 28mm thread. The 53mm is the overall length, not thread length.

                PS. Love the new avatar!

I've given up on GalPro and asked for my samples (which they were supposedly going to replicate) to be sent back. Which is great as suspension effed out, but I couldn't take off the wheels. Well not without drilling the security caps out, but I'm not about to piss that money down the drain.

Haven't been able to drive the car for over a month now because of the way this all panned out.

I am stunned that this spec can't be found though. Surely someone (in Sydney) can make these.

Anyway, I'm going back to my other wheel set up. This has been a drama since I got them.
