Just bought a GT Sport TDI, does anyone know the best way to advise VWA of my address details, assume I would recive any updates, recalls etc once they know where I am at just not sure what the process is?
All you need to do is send VW Australia an email via their website informing them you are now the owner of the vehicle and require a owner amendment form. They will send you an email with the form attached. Fill it out and send it to them.
Have just done the same thing myself.

you should definitely look into a DPF delete and tune from custom code.
That is the first thing i would be doing!
Congrats on the new car, the GT TDI's are a nice bit of kit.
Folks,
Thanks for the advice , also glad I helped another forum member, and yes the GT TDI's are a nice bit of kit, goes great and is economical at the same time, very pleased with it.
Not sure what the DPF delete and tune will deliver but would like to know more?
Sorry to hijack the thread but it is kind of relevant.
Do I need to be registered with VWA as the owner of the car before I get any warranty work done? (I am guessing yes.) I have a rattle in the passenger door that is driving me insane. Before I put my fist or foot through it I want it fixed (and the leather on the handbrake is comming off too).
