Is this photo done just of foreshore drive near port botany?

Benough took me to a place he'd found earlier and I experimented with a totally different way of lighting a car at night. I normally shoot in HDR and let the ambient light do the work. This time I worked with long exposures and a SB900 in various locations in and around the car. Then I complied around 7 of those exposures manually in photoshop.

It's far from a great photo with it's dull composition and low key lighting, but it was great for me to experiment and step out of my comfort zone. I kind of prefer it as a B&W, but will post the colour anyway. On the bright side, this shot led us to an awesome spot just around the corner from here.

Location database is on the grow. Doing another new spot tomorrow thanks to benough yet again. Hopefully have some more interesting things to look at than these experiments.

Got a bunch of great pics today. Going to take me a while to go through them all and decide on how to grade them. In the mean time, here's on that's pretty much as it was shot. Colour was like that from the camera just after the sun dropped.

Thanks mate. Had 1 rear shot, but wasn't 100% sold on it. Might look at it again and see what I can get from it at a later date.

Been test shooting at a few spots I found. Will be doing a Golf R just around the corner from here in a week or so.
