Thanks guys - it was bounced flash off the ceiling - you get some softness on the paintwork. I just need to find a carpark that has a super smooth ceiling!
A little bit of sharpening/levels work in photoshop, and I'm pretty happy with the results.
As sad as it is, the MKV C pillar is one of my favourite parts on the car so i'm happy to have a pic that shows that shape cleanly
ISO was 200 (so I've got a lot of noise in the darker shots unfortunately - i use a Canon 400D)
Exposures were hand held so anything between 1/50 and 1/125
Aperture was between f10 and f6.3
The flash ran the show really, I was in manual mode pandering to how much light it could throw out on fading batteries
They have had a little levels/sharpening work in photoshop, but nothing drastic - except on the 3rd shot which i made darker because of a lot of noise.
