I like the brushed alloy look it has. Distingushes it from the other golf models.

Those kind of mods just makes the car look cheap, but each to their own i guess.

Does look good, but harder to tell it's an R32, may as well get a GTI - comes with a black grille!

I agree - it looks very similar to my Jetta after I did the conversion.

That being said though as it looks fantastic!!

That's a nice car!! I agree, leave the wheels as is.

Was it brand new? Also, were the DRL's retrofitted or do they come standard on the newer ones?

Yes brand new in September 2006, one of the 1st to land...- DRL's not standard - retro fitted..

Yeah you're right, but I wanted to make my Jetta a little unique compared to the normal everyday one you'd see.. And I wanted to change it to suit my age a little =P. As for the headlights, i'm tempted to tint just the lower strip (indicator and empty space) but am too worried it'll screw up and i'll end up with some dodgey looking home-job.

In respect to Mikinoz's post, i've finally found somewhere to put my second VWwA sticker!!

No. I actually like the Black contrast. Too much Candy White looks a bit washed out I reckon
I am thinking about putting on a GTI rear valance though....

Thx. I've had them in for ages . Bought a Hella kit that comes with everything (including housings) on EBAY and fitted them up by myself.
Will have to catch up with you on base one day. Always admire your Cupra sitting in the carpark whenever I walk through that one. How do you manage to keep it so bloody clean all the time?
