ACV9000 to RNS510

Hi Guys,

I've just picked up a 2008 MY08 Black on Black GTI DSG. Absolutely love it, however the previous owner has installed the AVC9000 unit. I'm looking to replace it with the RNS510, but I'm wondering how difficult/easy the swap would be?

Could this be a simple unplug, plug, then play? or would it have been a more complicated install getting the AVC9000 in there in the first place?

Will be looking at getting rid of the AVC9000 as well as an RCD500 if anyone's interested.

Plug n play. Although you will have to re-code via VagCom to get steering wheel controls and MFD to work/show.

What are you after for the ACV9000? Would I be able to view the unit in the car before you remove it?
