HELP - Cracked rim

Hi guys,

Need help - I have been told I have a cracked rim ( 17 inch standard MK5GTI rim) as when I replaced my 4 tyres the front one lost 28PSI in 3 days, so I have been told the rim is screwed... VERY FRUSTRATING

So, any ideas where I can buy one VW GTI rim? I have looked everywhere and all I can find are a set of 4 genuine ones for $1000 on Ebay, or fake VW ones for $699.

I now have 4 brand new tyres ( bridgestones) and 3 VW rims... May be easier to buy some 19inch wheels from overseas??

I've got a set I'm willing to sell/separate.

2 are in excellent condition and 2 have very minor scuff.

I'm happy to sell just one and ship it out to you.

have you got quotes to try and repair the wheel?

I used a company called Spot On Wheel Repairs in Unanderra, NSW. They accept the wheel by freight.

Not sure if they can fix cracked wheels, but they do a lot of rally wheel repairs from Canberra
