i'm not saying your wrong - just i don't believe it
i have seen actual photo's of r36 passat - no photo's of r36 golf
also in the USA mk V R32 will first be released in the US MY08 (ie July/Aug 07) so i can hardly think they would then release a golf r36 in the same year.
looks to me as if someone took the r36 (passat) news and got confused and called it a golf.... once information is out on the web it is hard to stop
That’s something US buyers are going to have to wait a while to find out, though. In fact, the R32 isn’t scheduled to be sold in the North America at all. In its place will be the Mk5 R36, powered by a 300bhp version of the B6 Passat’s 3.6-litre VR6 FSI. Not only that, but by the time it arrives on your side of the pond in 2007, the price will have dropped to a far more reasonable $30,000 or thereabouts for the manual, non-DSG model.
Which just goes to prove the old maxim: some things in life are worth waiting for.
now i know for a fact the the Golf Mk V R32 is being sold in the US so this statement is obviously floored to some degree
