Hey all,

have a 07 MKV GTI, and wanted to know what color the interior is, more so the

* Center vent / console
* Center dash trim surround

Is it anthracite or black??

Comparing photos I found of Anthracite coloured leather seats I'd say it's more likely to be Anthracite than black as any images I managed to find of the Anthracite colour appears to be more of a dark grey. I have an '08 GT TDI and my son has an '05 GTI, both have standard cloth trim seats and the dashboard and door panels etc.... appear more of a dark grey colour rather than black.

Agree with Russ.

My 08 GT TSI has the dark grey, friend has an 08 GTI and his plastics are same shade.

i believe the A3 interior (correct me if i'm wrong, only been in one a couple of times) has a much darker grey than golf - almost black.

Hi,
I have a mk5 GT, all with the anthricate interior (cloth).

I had to paint my radio surround. Being blackish/grey and flat finish.

I presumed it was actually black. So a can of Vynal spray from

Supercheep auto, in flat black. After finished, any difference was

baerly noticable. The only detectable difference was relly oly the

texture in finish (the way I painted it).
