Mk5 Golf TDI 2.0 Engine code BLD?

Hi All,

Mk5 2005 Golf TDI2.0 engine code is BLD instead of BKD. Is that possible, I do not know if any replacement or mods? VIN has "U" letter, so from SA plant.

Typo? easy to mistype L instead of K. Do all the labels, docs and build plates match? Might pay to check ECU via VCDS as well maybe.

I don't recall ever seeing it.

I'd say a little more research through your documentation might net you a result.

It'd be on your rego papers, too. As it's the first 3 letters of the engine number.
