The r32's have taken a hit. i was looking about 5 months ago and they were in the mid 40's, i do believe they will keep coming down in price. also QLD always seem to be cheaper for reasons i do not know.
Yes i have noticed that they are dropping in price too. However this one seems to be about 7-10grand below market price. Must really be desperate to sell it. Will be interesting to see how low he drops the price before it sells.
Prices of R32 will continue to drop in my opinion much like the MKV GTIs. Even though to us VW enthusiests the R32 is a beautiful car but in the general eye of the consumers they will think that it is an 'outdated' model as VW annouced they have a R now as it is more 'eco' friendly than the 3.2L V6.
They have been overseas for a long time. Its because theyre less common. Supply vs demand is what dictates resale values and there will be a flood of used mk5s on the market if there arent already.
An 06 R32 with DSG could have the potential to have some serious $$$ needing to be spent now its out of Warranty. If the DSG was hammered, could need a good spend to get it back on the road.
