MY08 Golf GTI Upgrade 2 - Please Explain!

Just a quick one.

While sorting out the insurance for my GTI it has given me the option of MY08 Upgrade or MY08 Upgrade 2.
My car was built June 08, is it Upgrade or Upgrade 2?

Also, does anybody know what differences there is between the Upgrade and the Upgrade 2.
I am guessing not much.

As MY09 would have started in July 09, I would say you got one of the last MY08s so Upgrade 2 would be my pick.

Check the 10th digit of the VIN. If it is an 8 it is 2008 year spec. If it is a 9 it is 2009 year spec. As for Upgrade and Upgrade 2 maybe the insurance company can tell you what they mean.

Ringing the isurance will be the way to go me thinks.

Would still like to know what difference there is between the two.
