  • Jetta 2007 Side, Rear and Front Skirts

    Hi,

I posted this in the newbie section but didn't get any replys, hope someone in here might be able to help?

I want to buy a set of side, rear and front skirts plus a boot lip spolier for my black 2007 Jetta FSI turbo. I have found them on the official site: Volkswagen Jetta > Volkswagen Jetta > Volkswagen Jetta > New Car Models > Volkswagen Australia

Does anyone know the best place to buy these apart from VW themselves? Also does anyone have pics of their Jetta with these skirts, the images on the official site are to small to see any detail.

    Cheers,
    Brad.

    Welcome Brad,

I believe oemplus might be worth a look, they have a lot of stuff for VW, also maca on here picked up some skirts on there.

OEM European Volkswagen Exterior, Interior & Lighting Parts.

I checked that site out but they are missing some pictures for the skirts so hard to tell if they are the right ones. I sent them an email, so hopefully they get back to me.

On another note I have been looking at lowering my Jetta slightly, its got 19inch rims at the moment and doesn't scrub at all, has anyone else had luck lowering their Jetta and what springs/setup did they go for?

      Brad.

I am also looking at lowering my Jetta. I believe you can get a set of H&R 35mm lowering springs which will mean you wont have to replace your shocks. Anything lower than that i think you will need to. Can get coilovers for about $2200 for the Jetta. Thats the extent of my knowledge, there are a few threads on here of people who have lowered their Jetta.
Silver dub i think has the 35mm H&R springs.

What kind of kit are you looking for? The GLI ones? Or the other type that was available to us here in Australia?

I think I'd prefer the Australian ones, but then again I guess it depends on price and availability. I'm just not interested in the over the top after market ones with cheap looking carbon fiber scoops and vents etc lol
