  • TDI vs GTI

    Hi All,

    Should I get a MK IV GTi or manul trans MK V 2.0 TDI approx at same price, kms, and age?
    any input appreciated.

      honestly I'd go the mk4 GTI... and I drive a TDI

      Beautiful car, if a bit boring (stock)

        GT TDI and tune it.

        It'll be better than the Mk4 and you'll get 800km from the tank.

          MKV TDI for sure, newer car and with a tune can give you pretty good performance. MKIV GTI's were a bit of a let down in my opinion

            From what I've read the Mk4 Gti's are rubbish - it wasn't till the Mk5 GTi's came out that suddenly we have a Golf worthy of the GTi badge.
