Wheels and Tyres
I was looking at a "wheels/tyres" info table for VWs (I have a GT TSI) trying to work things out - it does seem a rather simple and well set out (table), but...

Pardon my ignorance, I am therefore assuming (going by the table) that if I were to get an 18x8.5 wheel (offset 42) I could put 225/40 or 235/40 or 245/35 tyres on these rims if the car remained "unlowered" ?

Does this sound feasible ?

Any suggestions as to what width tyre may look better on a GT on a 8.5 rim ?

Ask GTom.

He has done the same process.

He has 18's on his car and I'm pretty sure they are an 8" rim and he's running 235/35/18 tyres.
