    very.

the moment i found out about heat soak in turbo bearings, and that cooling down after a run can help to reduce damage to the turbo, i started idling upon parking, every single time i drove the car.

i've read a lot of literature saying that it's probably not necessary in modern TDI's to do this, but i dont see any disadvantage to it, and with a slightly modded tdi [mufflerectomy, bigger intake snorkel + filter, aggressive remap], i would deep fry a kitten before driving it hard up mt. buller, parking it, and turning the car off straight away. in my case, overkill leaves no doubt, lol.

Hi everyone, I got the car on Friday. For a 77kw engine the car is great! The first few gears are a little jerky but I am really happy with the car, its features and how it performs. I will put some pics together and post them.

              Sorry for the late reply.

I will attachesome pics of the new car in the coming days but wanted to let people know that the Jetta is a wonder to drive. I acknolwdge it is a small little 77kw 1.4 litre vehicle but its a great drive and feature enriched car for its price.

If anyone has any specific questions please ask i will be happy to reply.

I have been pleased with the purchase experience with SY VW. The salesman Fuz was great to work with in getting me the car I want and puttng up with my ball breaking.

I have had the car for about a month noe and have had two minor issues,
              1) the vent on the dash would not click in, this was due to it being broken VW replaced it but it doesn't sit flush on the dash I will follow this up this week.

              2) reverse light is alreay gone ......

              Pics to come!

              Thanks
              Pete

...not trying to teach you to suck eggs, but are you aware that there is only one reverse light (on the passenger side); the other one is a rear fog light.

I only mention this as you will get a lot of people telling you that "you have a reverse light out mate".
