  • Mk V GTI Engine Side Mount & Gearbox Side Mount.

Hey guys, what are people updating these 2 mounts with...?

OEM good enough, or, if going to the effort, may as well go BSH (or similar), as they are streets ahead of OEM.... Your thoughts/opinions?

    Thanks in advance.

if you like comfort and refinemnet, stick with OEM!!

i got VF ones, all 3 of them and the vibration is well....... lets just say, massaging
it has softened up since i first had them installed but they do rattle. heaps. lol

also depends on what you plan or how far you plan to mod.

ok... that squares VF out. Any feedback from BSH users?

i have the dogbone mount which i'll install this weekend... engine looks like its going to jump out of the bay when i start-up. The dogbone insert may sort this out. I just want something a littlle firmer, but no rattles, noises, etc etc.

Otherwise, upgrading pcv, brakes, suspension, exhaust work, and stage 2 tune. Have already installed evoms v-flow.
