  • R32 Brakes on stock 17" Classix?

    Hey guys

Would R32 front brakes fit on a GTI/jetta's stock 17's Classix?

  • #2
    Yes with the GTI's 17" Denver's.
Not sure about the Classixs as these are 7" wide and may not have quite the same clearance, the 17" Denver is a pretty tight fit as it is.

As aaaaah said they're 7.5" and so are both of the R32 rims. GT and GT Sport had 7".

so the GT sport have classix so im assuming the Jetta's Classix are the same 7"

does this mean the R32 front brakes will not fit?

Yes, R32 brakes will definitely fit behind Classix or 17" Visions.
Not much room admittedly, but they do fit.
Search for Dan GSR on Golfmkv - he tracks his GTI with the R32 brakes.

Halfway down the page is a pic of Dan's Classix.
