i just purchase a new r32. I have read some reply's my coz GPK_GTI posted on my behalf, on noise coming from the front end of the car. I too are experiancing this noise and it sounds like the coil springs moving!. Only happens if you turn the steering wheel whilst not moving. Expecially in the morinings, reversing out of my driveway. If any of you have the cause or solution pls advise.

Can't wait to drive mine each day!
Spoke again to my dealer yesterday about this problem. Apparantly yous and my car "shouldn't do it" as they were built with a revised geometry in the suspension. However.....it is going in next week to check to check the positioning of the springs and struts. There is a revised VAG bulletin out at the moment that reccomends the service department looks for certain wear indicators on these parts to determine if any work needs to be done. DSG.:R32 has had some work already done (hasn't fixed the problem but has reduced it) and I have insisted my dealer do at least the same. Will let you know how i gosigpic

the noise you have described is a strut mount noise there are two rubber mounts located at the top of the strut its is common for them to make some noise when new but if the noise continues you can get replaced under warranty anyway on a fresher note, welcome to the forum.Originally posted by tk-r32 View Poston noise coming from the front end of the car.
